Whether you are new to the clean eating lifestyle or not, Kylah’s classes are the perfect way to find inspiration to adopt a healthier lifestyle for you and your loved ones.  Classes are always small (maximum of 20 people) to guarantee that everyone has an opportunity to have a personal experience in the kitchen. Students go home with quick and easy recipes that are adaptable in any kitchen. Bring your questions and appetite!

Workshops are suitable for call ages (16-96… it’s never too early or late to learn this stuff!), from complete beginners to those with a a good deal of experience. These workshops are quite unique and there is always more to learn and more layers to peel back in your connection with the food that you eat and how it makes you feel.

All dishes are organic, 100 % plant-based (dairy-free, meat-free) and gluten-free! Please notify of any food allergies (Kylah is happy to accommodate).

Sunday, March 6 ~ 2-5 pm ~ Detox and Digestion: Detoxification does not need to cost a ton of time, money or energy. There are many simple ways to bring the incredible energy + mood boosting benefits of detox into our everyday lives using ingredients that we already have in our own kitchens. Many of the delicious methods and recipes we’ll be exploring and creating together also have the benefits of: cleansing, anti-bloating, improving digestion, improving deep sleep, glowing skin, healthy hair + more!  This workshop will leave you with easy ideas + inspiration to bring these new techniques into everyday living.

Sunday, April 17 AND Sunday, May 29 ~ 2-5 pm ~ Clean Eating Pantry Essentials + the DIY Kitchen: This workshop is designed as your primer to all other workshops. We take an in-depth look at how to set-up your pantry, fridge, freezer, spices, and kitchen to ensure success with your clean eating journey. We’ll explore all the pantry essentials – what you absolutely need, and what you can completely skip – so you have everything on hand (and no more excuses!!!) to make delicious, healthy meals at home every single day. We also cover a number of DIY basics so you can ditch the packaged versions for easy, affordable and fresh gluten-free alternatives! Yes!!!! You can do this! And…. by popular demand this workshop also includes GLUTEN FREE BREAD BAKING!!!!!

Sunday, May 15 ~ 2-5 pm ~ Breakfast Bliss: Taking the time to start your morning with a fresh, nutrient dense meal will allow you to sustain your energy and enthusiasm for the day ahead and avoid any mid-morning slumps. Eating a healthy breakfast can help give you:

  • a more nutritionally complete diet, higher in essential nutrients, vitamins and minerals
  • enhanced concentration and performance in the classroom or the boardroom
  • more energy and endurance to engage in physical activity

Sunday, June 12 ~ 2-5 pm ~ Spring & Summer Clean Eating: Learn how to prepare your in-season fresh CSA, farmer’s market or garden veggies in the easiest, most time saving + delicious ways!!! We’ll make (+ enjoy!) a mouth watering full-course organic meal together (including a healthy dessert!). You’ll be taught the many simple variations of all the recipes so you can tweak them to be vegan, vegetarian or with meat based on your own dietary needs.  I’ll be sharing all my tips, tricks, and techniques to leave you feeling refreshed + replenished + inspired to bring seasonal clean eating into your daily life.

Sunday, September 11 ~ 2-5 pm ~ Inspired Lunches-Healthy Children, Healthy Minds: You don’t feel good when you eat processed, packaged foods and neither do our children. Healthy, homemade, nut-free school lunches can be a serious challenge and yet incredibly beneficial to the behaviour and capacity to learn for our little ones.  In this workshop we’ll discuss the importance of childhood nutrition and you’ll leave with (and taste test!!!) an abundance of quick and easy child friendly lunch ideas.

Sunday, October 30 ~ 2-5 pm ~ The Well Nourished Family + Meal Planning 101: Feeding our families well – with healthy nourishing whole foods – can be exceptionally challenging. I’m a full-time working mom and I know what it feels like to struggle to get a decent meal on the table that everyone will actually eat. It’s so easy to get caught in a cycle of feeding our children carbs and cheese night after night and let that become our daily ‘normal’. This topic is extremely near and dear to my heart and something I have researched, experimented and worked very hard at turning around for my own family after years of last minute, mediocre, ‘kinda healthy’ meals that resulted in uber picky eaters and a stressed mama. Together we’ll explore and discuss practical ways to develop a rhythm of clean, simple eating and family-friendly (not just kid friendly!) meals. You’ll leave with a meal plan template and together we’ll fill in the first week for you!

Sunday, November 13 ~ 2-5 pm ~ Holistic Nutrition for Athletes: This workshop will help you discover your full potential to lead an active lifestyle through healthy, whole and conscious eating. We’ll start with the fundamentals, where we’ll cover the essentials of a healthy diet for athletes. You’ll learn the important ingredients you should be eating and why they are good for you. Next, we’ll cover the essential cooking methods and techniques that will allow you to customize your meals to suit your athletic goals. I’ll show you a variety of different recipes that use clean, whole ingredients to enhance performance and recovery. What you eat should be an extension of your workout, helping you to perform both mentally and physically. You’ll learn specific nutritional needs based on activity level and we’ll talk about which supplements you should be getting at the health food store and which ones you should be getting through your meals. This workshop includes a delicious pre- and post- workout menu, including how to make your own protein bars, protein shakes even your own protein powder at home without any yucky fillers or additives! Can we cover all this in 3 hours? Yes we can!!!

Sunday, December 4 ~ 2-5 pm ~ Gorgeously Gluten-Free Desserts: Minimizing the amount of wheat you eat, whether you want to cut it out completely or just cut back, can have phenomenal positive effects on your skin, tummy, digestion, joint health, moods, and energy levels. This workshop explores the delicious world of gluten-free  and flour-free desserts so that this year you can enjoy clean eating Christmas treats!!! Bonus ~ all of these desserts are 100% sugar free so you and your loved ones don’t need to ride the wave of sugar highs and lows over the holidays. We’ll be making lots of raw and baked treats that we’ll sample together (with fresh homemade chai tea!) and you’ll go home with all the recipes + a tin bursting full of festive goodness!

Sunday, December 11 ~ 2-5 pm ~ Winter Clean Eating + Healthy Holiday Hits: See description above for Spring Clean Eating. +++ In this workshop we’ll be discussing easy tips + techniques to eat clean over the holidays so all the festive meals and parties leave you feeling refreshed, replenished + nourished, instead of tired, heavy, and stressed. Together we’ll create a beautiful fresh holiday meal that you can replicate for your own loved ones.
