I would be honored to help guide you. 10 years ago I thought bloating, sluggish digestion, irritability, low energy, dull skin and hair, feeling physically heavy, and chronic exhaustion was ‘normal’.

I really had no idea what true health – my natural state of being – could feel or look like. After many rounds of antibiotics prescribed by doctors and trying out several restrictive diets I was in even worse shape than when I started.

It was with the guidance, support and expert advice of a Holistic Nutrition Therapist that my health and wellbeing came full circle.

7 years after my personal shift with food, and two sweet little ones later, I began my 600 hour training as a Master Nutrition Therapist with the Nutrition Therapy Institute .

Together we will dig deep to discover and work through limiting beliefs, lingering habits and any life pressures that are holding you back from beautiful abundant health. From my own experience, real long lasting results only come from this level of personal and physical exploration.

Then we’ll develop a personalized nutrition and lifestyle plan to get you feeling, acting and looking like your best possible self so you can live life to it’s fullest potential.

I work one-on-one with my clients from my private practice, over the phone or via skype.

I support women who have suspected or diagnosed physical, behavioral or emotional ailments. Often the symptoms of any of these conditions (or a combo of the three) can be completely cured or significantly alleviated with specific dietary changes.

NUTRITION COACHING PHILOSOPHY

The field of nutrition can be very overwhelming and confusing with fad diets every corner your turn, new “superfoods”, and health gurus preaching advice that isn’t accurate and at times dangerous. My objective is to clear the nutrition cloud of confusion and use realistic, effective, and comprehensive techniques to incorporate into your lifestyle to reach your goals. Whatever your diet, nutrition, wellness, and lifestyle goals may be, I will provide you with the education and tools you need to accomplish and maintain your new habits.

My approach is about living to your fullest and optimum level of wellness. I don’t use the term “diets” or advocate strict diets unless from a medical nutrition therapy standpoint or to meet specific fitness and sports nutrition related goals, which require more adherence; but for the majority of us it’s about living well and forming new habits. In that case, let’s strip away the cookie cutter plans and go back to bare basics with approaches and techniques that will work for your individual self.

I’m not only interested in the science and “mathematics of nutrition” such as calories, weight, lab values, training programs, etc.; but more importantly your entire background, exercise, digestion, current lifestyle, and history with food on a physical, mental, social, and emotional level- i.e. the WHOLE picture. There are a plethora of factors in one’s life that determine our food choices and behavior. We’ll work together to bring awareness to these factors and provide nutrition and wellness guidance that will reflect your current needs and goals.

My nutrition services are not just for those who want to make a transition to a plant-based diet, but for anyone looking to make a positive and healthy lifestyle change. Those who should not work with me if:

  • You think nutrition, wellness and lifestyle has nothing to do with the way you feel nor does it play a significant role in your overall health
  • You are not consistent to sticking to the plan I recommend, even if that means giving up certain foods and lifestyle practices that are keeping you from feeling your best
  • You have a mysterious diagnosis or string of symptom’s that require testing and you’ve never seen a physician, naturopath, or other qualified professional about your health issues (I practice in my scope, which is dietetics, nutrition, and coaching)
  • You’re not ready to invest time, effort, and resources in addressing your health concerns
  • You need someone to run diagnostic testing, blood work, prescribe medications, or provide medical treatment for your condition (speak with your physician first)
